Friday 2nd September 2016 saw seven Scows from
the RLymYC loaded onto trailers for the short trip to Needs Ore on the Beaulieu
River, summer headquarters for the BRSC. The occasion was the second leg
of the newly-constituted sailing match between the two Clubs, both of which
race Lymington Scows built by local builder John Claridge.
A day's sailing took place on Wednesday 15th July 2015 in Chichester Harbour with Association members from Lymington/Keyhaven joined with local scow sailors in a ‘potter’ with a picnic lunch and supper to finish.
On Saturday, 8th June 2014, most
of the committee descended on Salterns Sailing Club to present Emily, LR 369,
to them on behalf of the Association
